Yoder Claims She Killed Michelle Miller

SAN ANGELO, TX-- LuDonna Gail Yoder, recently convicted of murder, wrote a letter to District Judge Jay Weatherby on Saturday explaining exactly what had happened that night.

According to the letter, Yoder says that she murdered Michelle Miller "for my children and his children and for him." The him referred to is Robert Lamar Miller who was also convicted of murder.

On Dec. 3, 2005 Yoder and Mrs. Miller got into a heated argument over the way that Yoder treated Mrs. Miller's children and husband. The purpose of the letter was to not "let Mr. Miller go down for the crime he has been charge[d] for."

The letter details multiple situations where Mrs. Miller would act hostile towards Yoder and Mr. Miller including having to hide knives from Mrs. Miller and her still having more knives hidden around the kitchen, and Mrs. Miller also holding a "glass punch bowl" over Yoder's head threatening to break it over her head. 

Yoder tried multiple times to move away from the Miller family, but every time she was begged to return. "So I stayed knowing that it was going to be easier taking care of three kids with help." The Miller's even offered to build onto their current house for Yoder and her children.

On the night of the murder Yoder and Mrs. Miller got into a heated argument. The letter has statements that Mrs. Miller says were about Yoder's 13-year-old daughter calling her "a little slut."  Also she had admitted to continuously giving Yoder's three-year-old son Benadryl to make the child sleep at night without first asking Yoder, the mom.

After the dust had settled and Mrs. Miller went to sleep, "I will still very upset and remember a comment that was made an[d] then I snapped and pulled my pillow out from under my head and held it over Mrs. Miller's face until she stopped moving."

Mr. Miller walked into the room after it had already been done, Yoder wrote. Yoder laid crying on the bed, and Miller just stood there in shock. They then both decided that they had to "take care of the body." They then hid the body underneath the house until later moving it to the former San Angelo Speedway.

The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, working on a tip, found and dug up the body in March of 2017.

 "I am not telling you all this to make anyone feel sorry for me i am telling to my mind, my heart, and soul." Says Yoder in the letter,  "All I can do is ask for forgiveness from God and pray that whatever comes of this letter it wil be the right thing."
