Louisana Man Confesses to Killing Missing Odessa Women

 

ODESSA, TX-- Louisiana and Ector County authorities are searching for a missing women's body after a man admitted to killing the women before taking his own life. 

Jackson Parish Sheriff's Department in Louisiana tells CBS 7 a suspect named Jonathan "Jay" Boston told members of his family that he had killed Ashley Martin Davis in Odessa.

The Texas Rangers and Odessa P.D. are helping the Jackson Parish's office investigate.

The deputies went to arrest Boston, but when they arrived on scene he had already taken his own life.

On Wednesday afternoon, Laterrian Lewis was arrested by the sheriffs office for obstruction of justice in the murder investigation of Ashley Martin Davis.

Authorities have found Davis's car, but her body still remains missing.

No connections have came up between Boston and Davis, or why they were in West Texas.
