Man Arrested After Deputies Find 13 Pounds of Pot

ODESSA, TX -- A 63-year-old man was arrested after Sheriff's Deputies found him with 13 pounds of marijuana Wednesday.

The Ector County Sheriff's Department with the assistance of the Tactical Response Team arrested Isreal Bustamante early Wednesday during a search warrant conducted around 7:30 pm at 10403 West 16th Street in Odessa.

 Sgt. Gary Duesler says Bustamante was arrested and the Sheriff's Department seized 13 pounds of marijuana, one AK-47 assault rifle, three handguns, and cash. 

He was charged with third degree felony possession of marijuana and bonded out on a $2,500 bond.

Additional charges are pending.
