3 Arrested After Robbery and Hit and Run Investigation

 

ODESSA, TX -- (PRESS RELEASE) Odessa Police arrested Chacoby Dixon DOB 5-29-83, Steve Dixon DOB 7-20-57, and Tyneshia Green DOB 9-14-83, on 10-27-18 at approximately 2320 hours for Robbery “2nd Degree Felony”. Officers responded to 8th and Wink in reference to a crash involving a white Dodge Challenger and a tan Mercury Grand Marquis.

Upon arrival, officers observed the Grand Marquis leaving the scene northbound on Wink. A traffic stop was conducted and the occupants of the Grand Marquis were identified as Chacoby Dixon, Steve Dixon, and Tyneshia Green. The occupants of the Dodge Challenger were identified as a 21-year-old male and a 22-year-old male.

Investigation revealed that after both vehicles collided, the occupants exited to exchange insurance information. Investigation revealed that Steve Dixon and Chacoby Dixon began repeatedly striking the 21-year-old male and 22-year-old male, causing both of them to fall to the ground and sustain bodily injury.

Officers located the 21-year-old and 22-year-old’s property in the Grand Marquis. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, all three occupants in the Grand Marquis were charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
