Permian Student Arrested with Loaded Gun on Campus

 

ODESSA, TX-- Ector County ISD police arrested a 15-year-old male Permian High School student Tuesday morning for carrying a loaded gun on campus, News West 9 reports.

School District officials called parents to alert them of the incident.

Officials also say they made the arrest thanks to a student tip.

The arrested student is facing charges of tampering with identification, a class A misdemeanor, places weapons prohibited, a third degree felony, exhibition, use, or threat of exhibition or use of firearms, a third degree felony, and possession of marijuana, a class A misdemeanor, according to News West 9.
