Abilene Police Searching for Suspects Believed to Have Robbed 2 7-Elevens

ABILENE, TX-- Abilene police are asking the public for help identifying two robbery suspects accused of robbing multiple convenience stores, KTXS reports.

Around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, the first robbery happened.

The two suspects walked into an Abilene 7-Eleven on the corner of Mockingbird and N. 12th streets wearing masks and carrying a gun.

The suspect in the blue jacket walked behind the counter, grabbed some packs of Newport cigarettes and Swisher Sweets before leaving according to the report.

The accomplice in the gray hoodie held the cashier at gunpoint and made him empty the cash register before leaving.

The two suspects are also believed to have committed another robbery at another 7-Eleven the next night, this time on S. 14th and Treadaway Blvd, police say.

The suspects reportedly took cash, Newport cigarettes and Swisher Sweets at the second 7-Eleven.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects are encouraged to call Abilene Crime Stoppers at (325) 676-8477 (TIPS).

You will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward.
