Woman Arrested After Crashing and Attempting to Leave the Scene

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A San Angelo woman crashed her car and then tried to drive off after officers found out she had an outstanding warrant.

30-year-old Tiffany McGuire lost control of her Toyota sedan while attempting to enter Loop 306 from U.S. 87.

According to San Angelo Police Investigating Officer Cade Solsbery, Mcguire crossed over in front of a flat bed work truck.

The truck struck the back of her Toyota and she crashed.

While officers were investigating the crash, Mcguire attempted to drive the badly damaged car away.

She was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Solsbery said she will be cited for failure to control speed and driving without a valid license.

No injuries were reported in the crash but both vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed.
