SAN ANGELO, TX -- Tom Green County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Wall man on one count of possession of child pornography after he was allegedly found with a topless photo of a 14-year-old girl.
According to court documents, 49-year-old Corby Chitsey was arrested Tuesday afternoon and booked into the Tom Green County jail following an investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.
According to the court document, investigators were told by Chitsey’s ex-wife that he had a photo of an underaged girl on his Ipad. Chitsey allegedly impersonated a friend of the victim and convinced her to send him the photo over snapchat. The victim told authorities she thought she was sending the photo to a friend.
Chitsey is accused of then using a fake snapchat account to send the photo to other people
Authorities served a search warrant at a residence in Wall on Nov. 30, 2017. They recovered an IPhone belonging to Chistey.
Possession of Child Pornography is a third degree felony punishable by two to ten years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
Chistsey was arrested Tuesday. District Judge Ben Woodward set his bond at 15,000. According to arrest records, Chitsey was released on bond at 7:13 p.m Tuesday.
