SAN ANGELO, TX -- Two San Angelo men are facing drug charges following a weekend traffic stop. The charges stem from an Anti-Crime Unit directed traffic stop on a green 1996 Chevrolet Silverado just after 1 a.m. Saturday near the 1600 block of W. Avenue L.
According to a press release, the driver, identified as 23-year-old Kyle B. Doty, was arrested for seven outstanding warrants. Two passengers, identified as Devonte W. Franklin, 26, and Clayton C. Stroh, 24, were subsequently arrested after officers located suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on them.
Just last Thursday, October 11, Clayton Stroh was arrested for stealing tools and a hand gun. He was charged with State Jail Felony Theft and Unlawful Carrying Weapon and given an $8,000 bond.
Franklin was charged with State Jail Felony Possession Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 and Possession/Delivery Drug Paraphernalia. This time, Stroh was charged with Third Degree Felony Possession Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 and an outstanding warrant for Burglary of Building. The trio was transported to the Tom Green County Jail.
