Social Media Threat Sends Police to High School

ABILENE, TX -- Abilene Police responded to a false social media threat at Abilene High School Wednesday afternoon.

According to KTXS, an unspecified potential threat was made on social media against Abilene High School.

Abilene Police responded to Abilene High School out of an abundance of caution even though the knew the threat wasn't credible.

Abilene Police continue to investigate and don't beleive there is any danger.
