SAN ANGELO, TX -- Just after 9:00 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 17, officers with the San Angelo Police Department’s Anti-Crime Unit directed a traffic stop on a black 2010 GMC Sierra in the 400 block of N. Washington St.
According to a press release, the driver, David Steinbach, 37, and two passengers, Kevin Clements, 37, and Hazel Lynn Walker, 31, were arrested for warrants. During a search of the pickup, officers located a bag containing seven keys that had dealer tags on them — tags belonging to Rays Auto Sales, which had been burglarized around 12:00 a.m. that morning.
During immediate follow-up investigation, Investigators with the Department’s Criminal Investigations Division developed information which led them to the Tuscany Apartments at 1815 S. Fillmore where they discovered a black 2006 Hummer H2 — also reported stolen from Rays Auto Sales.
Steinbach was ultimately charged with Burglary of Building, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and his warrants. Additional charges are pending the outcome of this ongoing investigation.
The recovered vehicle and keys were returned to Rays Auto Sales.

The really sad part about this is that these people have children. Way to set an example and break the cycle! I just don't understand how the criminal mind works!
