Man Jacked-Up on Meth Arrived Heavily Armed at the Big Spring Walmart Until Police Intervened

BIG SPRING, TX — Big Spring Police said they arrested an armed man at the Big Spring Walmart Supercenter early morning on Sept. 11. He was found with three handguns and three rifles.

The man, who police described as under the influence of methamphetamines, and possibly having a mental crisis, was first seen by Walmart employees when he brandished a handgun while inside the store at around 4:20 a.m. Walmart employees called 9-1-1, though police learned later he didn’t threaten anyone with the gun.
