SAN ANGELO, TX — (Press Release) Just after 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 9, 2018, San Angelo Police were dispatched to the Juvenile Justice Center located at 1253 W. 19th Street for the report of an escape attempt by inmates possibly armed with homemade knives.
Upon arrival, the first officer on scene discovered broken windows leading to a secured area. Soon after, the officer encountered three male juvenile inmates with shirts covering their faces.
During an attempt to take the juveniles into custody, a 15-year-old inmate actively resisted and a brief struggle ensued. The teen was eventually tasered and taken into custody. A second inmate, age 16, also became combative and attempted to fight his way past officers; however, his attempt failed.
Due to the quick police response, none of the juvenile inmates escaped and no officers were injured during the incident.
Follow up investigation is being handled by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office.

Nothing has changed since the last successful escape, now the time has come to make that change. That place needs a guard with a machine gun who is looking forward to using it..... When can I start ? That place is a prison. When inmates have the desire to rise up, fight, hurt and over power staff, games are over... Kid cards just got revoked and replaced with adult cards.... It just got real.
The next group of Junior thugs to get sentenced and finds out that all the new vacancies were due to multiple funerals, It's a pretty sure thing that inmate behavior will change....

Permalinkserious charges filed and then go to prison. These are bad boy cop killers.
Sadly it may be when they do kill a cop or invade your house before much is done to put them away.
