Two Arrested in Brownwood When Police Find 56 Grams of Meth

 

BROWNWOOD, TX -- At approximately 8:15 a.m. Friday, members of the Brownwood Police Department and Brown County Sheriff’s Office SWAT teams executed a narcotics search and arrest warrant in the 1400 block of Waco Street in Brownwood.

According to a press release, the search warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine in Brown County.

49-year-old Michael Penn and 34-year-old Erocia Donahoo were arrested at the scene.  

They were booked into the Brown County Jail and charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams, a first degree felony, and possession of a firearm by a felon, a third degree felony.

During the execution of the search warrant, approximately 56 grams of suspected methamphetamine were recovered from the residence. Along with the suspected controlled substance, officials also recovered materials that were consistent with the distribution of illegal drugs.

Additionally, two handguns were recovered during the investigation.
