SAN ANGELO, TX-- Police have arrested one man and released more details in the Shroeder Street shooting last Friday.

According to a San Angelo Police press release, a 2-year-old male victim was shot by accident when “another young child” gained access to the gun.

“No charges will be filed against that child, as per Texas law,” the release said.

The victim was reportedly flown to Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth where he is still receiving treatment.
