UPDATED 5:50 p.m. Aug. 6. A man who was transported to the hospital from MLK Park was allegedly stabbed at a homeless encampment under the overpass of Houston Harte at N. Bryant Blvd.
San Angelo Police arrested a man near the homeless encampment along the Concho River shortly after the alleged victim was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
We will have more details when officials release more information.

SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo Police are investigating a possible stabbing in MLK park on MLK Blvd.
Reports indicate a possible stabbing victim was found in the gazebo are of the park.
The alleged victim was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
Shortly after, San Angelo Police arrested a possible suspect under the overpass of Houston Harte over the Concho River where the homeless tent city used to be.
It is unclear at this time of the two events are related.
We will update this story as official information is released by the San Angelo Police Department.
