Abilene Eskimo Hut Shooter Identified

 

ABILENE, TX — The Abilene Police Department arrested a man in connection to the shooting on Friday at Eskimo Hut in Abilene.

According to KTXS, Gregory Dakota Fowler, 21, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after shooting another man in the chest around 6:30 p.m.

According to police, Fowler shot the man after an argument outside the location at S. 27th and Barrow Streets.

The victim is in critical condition but is listed as stable at Hendrick Medical Center.

Fowler has a list of charges from the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office: Burglary, Theft, Fraud, Possession of Controlled Substance, Unauthorized Use of Vehicle, and Criminal Trespassing.

Fowler remains in the Taylor County jail in lieu of $64,000.
