San Angelo Indicted for Indecency with Child Sexual Contact

SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo man was arrested in March 2017 for indecency with child by sexual contact.

According to court documents, Rene Eduardo Quintana, 32, was arrested after touching the breasts of a female victim under the age of 17.

Quintana was released on a $50,000 bond last year with a note "No Contact with Victim." Tom Green County Sheriff’s Department picked him up yesterday following an indictment by the grand jury.

Rene Quintana is charged with indecency with child sexual contact, a Second Degree Felon, but it has been enhanced to a First Degree Felony. Quintana is also being charged with possession of a controlled substance after being arrested in Jan 2014 with methamphetamine.
