ODESSA, TX-- An early morning stabbing incident has resulted in the arrest of one man in Odessa, NewsWest 9 reports.
Aaron Pando, 35, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/family violence.
At 2:30 a.m., deputies with the Ector County Sheriff’s office responded to the scene in the 6400 block of W. 19th Street. Upon arrival, deputies found a wrecked SUV that had crashed into a fence after running over a stop sign.
Deputies also found a female victim at the scene who said she had been stabbed in the neck by her boyfriend, Pando. The incident reportedly stemmed from an argument the two had while they were driving before they crashed. Pando fled the scene
The victim had to be transported to Medical Center Hospital to be treated for four stab wounds to her neck, one to her abdomen and multiple cuts to her hands. She was reportedly in critical condition.
Officers searched for Pando before finding him at a residence at 8:45 a.m.
