39-year-old San Angelo Man Indicted for Indecency with a Child

ABILENE, TX -- A 39-year-old San Angelo man has been indicted by a Taylor County Grand Jury in Abilene for indecency a girl younger than 17 years old.  

A Taylor County grand jury handed down the indictment of Kristopher Ryan Hamilton this week.  The alleged incident occurred in the Abilene area during 2014.  

KTXS is reporting the girl reached out to a resource officer about an alleged assault in May of last year, the charges were reduced to indecency, however.

According to the final indictment, Hamilton is accused of engaging in sexual contact with a girl by touching her breast with the intent to arouse or gratify his sexual desire.

Hamilton is charged with one count of indecency with a child which a second degree felony punishable by two to twenty years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
