Police Arrest 74-year-old Shoplifter at Walmart in Tuesday Booking Report

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Tuesday booking report showed 23 people arrested and booked in Tom Green County jail. The following people are from the SAPD arrest blotter and booking report:

Beatrice Escobar Cortez, 74, was arrested for theft of property with two or more previous convictions, fraud and destroying or removal concealment writing, and criminal trespassing after police were dispatched to the Walmart on W. 29th Street for the report of a shoplifter.

Justin Lane Dixon, 24, was arrested by the San Angelo Police Department for a warrant from Williamson County for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Dixon was extradited back to Williamson County and is in jail in lieu of $150,000.

Christopher Thomas Brooks, 22, was arrested for a bench warrant for sexual assault of a child. He was brought in by San Angelo Police Department. Brooks is sitting in jail in lieu of a $40,000 bond.

David Gasser, 64, was arrested by Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office for assault causes bodily injury-family violence following an investigation. Gasser is sitting in jail in lieu of $2,500.

  • Criminal Trespass: 1
  • Sexual Assault of a Child: 1
