Crisis Intervention Unit Seeking Volunteers for Fall 2018 Training Class

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- (Press Release) The Tom Green County Crisis Intervention Unit is looking for people who are empathetic, good listeners and want to make a difference in their community. 

We are volunteer first responders who respond to requests from law enforcement to go to the scene of a crime or crisis and work with the victims/survivors. 

We have a 36 hour training program, and training classes are held each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Classes start on September 29, 2018 and run through November 3, 2018.  

Application, background check, and interview required prior to September 28, 2018.
