ODESSA, TX — (Press Release) Odessa Police arrested 29-year-old Marcus Ivan Harper on June 30 for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child “1st Degree Felony”.
On June 30, a sexual assault was reported to the Odessa Police Department. Investigation revealed that a 14-year-old female was pregnant and that she began having sexual relations with a known person when she was 13-years-old.
The suspect, identified as Harper, admitted to having sex with the victim on multiple occasions beginning when she was 13 years old.
Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, OPD detectives obtained a warrant for Harper, who was charged and arrested accordingly.
