BROWNWOOD, TX — Brown County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were called to a reported shooting Wednesday evening.
According to the Brownwood Bulletin, the scanner traffic reported that two people had been shot in the legs following an accidental discharge of a firearm.
The accidental shooting happened by Valley Vista Drive.
The Air Evac Lifeteam helicopter landed near County Road 337, north of Early. Air Evac flew one shooting victim to a local hospital for treatment.
The extent of the injuries are not known at this time.
There is no further information as this is an ongoing investigation.
