Big Spring Teen Dies Playing Russian Roulette

BIG SPRING, TX — The Big Spring Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a teen. It is believed the teen died playing Russian roulette early Friday morning.

According to CBS 7, officers responded to the 1800 block of S. Nolan around 4:00 a.m. for the report of a gunshot victim.

Witnesses in the home told police that it was a suicide, but evidence led investigators to believe the victim was taking part in a game of Russian roulette.

The two firearms that were found at the residence are believed to be stolen from vehicles in the area of Barcelona Apartments and H-E-B. The guns have not yet been reported stolen but drivers with weapons are encouraged to check their vehicles and report it if they are missing.
