ABILENE, TX — A Merkel couple is accused of sexually assaulting a young girl over the course of four years and forcing her to sleep in a feces covered bed.
Daniel Arnold Tilbe, 57, and Jeanette Violet Tilbe, 49, were arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child on Sunday.
According to KTXS in Abilene, court documents revealed that one of the five people living in the home called police on Oct. 2 and said, “children are in danger at this house.”
There were also photos sent to police showing a room with “numerous animal feces around the couch and bedding area.” The person also reported that the victim, who was under the age of 14, “slept on a rug or animal bed that was covered in animal feces.”
In Nov., the child was taken to Heart of Texas Child Advocacy Center in Early for a forensic interview. In the interview, the child described the aggravated sexual assault in detail.
The child reported that she had been assaulted by Jeanette Tilbe since she was five and by Daniel Tilbe since she was seven.
Daniel and Jeanette Tilbe were arrested and booked in Taylor County jail on $100,000 bonds.

Can’t call them pigs, I’ve owned some pretty darn good pigs over the years. Can’t call them dogs, my dogs are smarter than these 2 combined. They say you can train a rat.
