Two Arrested from South Abilene 7-Eleven Shooting

 

UPDATE: Abilene Police Department have arrested two men in connection with the shooting Monday night at the 7-Eleven in South Abilene.

According to KTXS, Antwon Lamar Ellis, 24, is charged with aggrevated assault with a deadly weapon. His bond is set at $40,000.

Jeremy Korbaryl Swann, 29, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and theft of firearm. His bond is set for $15,000.

Swann told police that the gun used in the assault was his.

Police say Ellis shot the victim in the arm during an argument outside the 7-Eleven.

Ellis was later arrested at his home located in the 200 block of Park Avenue.

ABILENE, TX — A man was injured and was rushed to the hospital late Monday night in Abilene after a shooting at the 7-Eleven at South 7th and South Clack Street, according to KTXS.

The victim suffered a wound to his arm after he and the suspect got into an argument. The man has not yet been identified.

Police at the scene reported to multiple rounds fired. The incident occurred at 9:15 p.m.

The victim was transported to Hendrick Medical Center. The victim’s condition is unknown at this time.
