High Speed Chase Ends in Fiery Crash

SAN ANGELO, TX — (SAPD Press Release) At approximately 4:45 p.m., a suspect fled from Officers in a black Chevrolet Silverado and a pursuit ensued through Concho and McCulloch Counties.

The driver, identified as Justin A. Lee, 36, was taken into custody near US HWY 87 and CR 138 after his vehicle left the roadway and caught fire.

No one was injured. Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, Concho County Sheriff's Office, McCulloch County Sheriff's Office, and DPS were also involved in the pursuit. Lee was arrested for Evading in a Vehicle and a warrant.

More information on the chase will be released later today.
