Evading Arrest and Family Violence Top Weekend Booking Report

SAN ANGELO, TX — The weekend booking report shows that 70 people were arrested and booked in Tom Green County jail. The following are people arrested and charges form the SAPD arrest blotter from Sunday to Friday:

Gilberto Lee Barrientos, 29, was arrested Sunday afternoon for evading arrest and detention with previous conviction. Police were dispatched to the area of Sherwood Way and Southwest for the report of a person pointing a gun at passing vehicles. Barrientos fled from an officer but eventually apprehended with an injury to the officer. Civilians played a vital role in aiding the incapacitated officer.

Martin Arambula, 38, was arrested for driving while intoxicated 2nd on Sunday following a hit and run investigation.

Marlo Ortiz, 41, was arrested for assault causes bodily injury-family violence on Sunday night following a domestic violence investigation in the 500 block of E. 25th Street.   

Kontar Danjuma Wright, 36, was arrested Sunday for assault causing bodily injury-family violence following a domestic investigation in the 500 block of W. 16th Street.

Jonathan Ryan Garza, 28, was arrested Saturday morning for unlawfully carrying weapon, criminal trespass, and warrants for driving while license invalid, speeding, possession marijuana, failure to appear, and theft. Garza was arrested in the 3300 block of Rock Brook Drive.

Felix Villarreal Rodriguez, 26, was arrested for public intoxication on Saturday morning after police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Gordon Blvd. for the report of a fight.

Jesus Ernesto Espinzoa, 21, was arrested for fraud destroy removal concealment of writing on Saturday after police were dispatched to the Walmart on S. Bryant for the report of a theft.

Victor James Hart, 36, was arrested Friday night for assault causes bodily injury-family violence and 2 warrants following a domestic violence investigation in the 700 block of Veck Street.

Lionel Jeremaine King, 30, was arrested late Friday night for assault causes bodily injury-family violence. King was arrested following a domestic violence investigation in the 1300 block of Preusser Street.

Marco Rendel Coney, 39, was arrested on Friday evening for fraud use/possession identifying info # items after police were dispatched to the residence in the 200 block of Farr Street for the report of a domestic disturbance.
