Facebook Tip Leads to the Identity of a Man wanted for Forgery

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — On April 6, San Angelo Police Department asked the public for help to identify a man in connection to a forgery investigation.

According to the updated SAPD Facebook post, Gary Berry has been charged with Forgery-Financial Instrument-Elderly.

Thanks to an anonymous tip on Facebook, Berry has been identified and charged. Berry was already in jail in another county for multiple forgeries when the SAPD detective filed charges.
