Evading Arrest Causing Death Tops Weekend Booking Report

SAN ANGELO, TX — The weekend booking report shows 78 people arrested and booked into the Tom Green County jail from Friday to Monday. The following are a few people and their charges from the arrest blotter:

Daniel Nakeia Diaz, 22, was arrested Friday night for evading arrest/detention causing death after evading a traffic stop in a pickup truck. Diaz disregarded a red light at W. Twohig and S. Abe and collided with an oncoming southbound vehicle. Diaz’s truck came to rest after colliding with a signal pole on the southeast corner of the intersection. One passenger was killed. Two others were injured.

Benjamin John Dominguez, 33, was arrested for criminal trespassing on Friday after police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Raney Street for the report of a domestic disturbance.

Carlos Louis Rodriguez, 27, was arrested Saturday morning for reckless driving and no driver’s license. The arrest came after a traffic stop in the 500 block of E. 20th Streetafter police were dispatched to the area for the report of a reckless driver.

Christopher Marc Jackson, 32, was arrested Saturday around noon for assault causes bodily injury – family violence and injury of a child/elderly/disable following a domestic violence investigation at a residence in the 2600 block of Lakeside Avenue.

Dalton Wade Walters, 25, was arrested for assault causing bodily injury – family violence following a domestic violence investigation in the 700 block of E. Avenue L.

Jake Lee Kincannon, 39, was arrested for resisting arrest, search, or transport and a warrant for burglary of a habitation intend on Sunday morning. Police were dispatched to the Super 8 Motel on W. Avenue L for the report of an unwanted subject.

Eulalio Blanco Guerra, 36, was arrested Sunday evening for criminal trespassing of habitation/shelter/infrastructure complaint criminal mischief. Police were dispatched to the 200 block of E. 8th Street for the report of an unwanted subject.

Monica Lynn Gutierrez, 23, was arrested on Sunday evening for driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 in the vehicle. The arrest came following a crash investigation in the 2000 block of S. Johnson Street.

Julio Pena Enriquez Jr., 32, was arrested for evading arrest and a warrant for failure to appear Monday morning. Enriquez was arrested after he fled a traffic stop in the 400 block of N. Monroe Street.

Jeremiah Nichola De La Torre, 34, was arrested for assault family violence – class C following a domestic violence investigation in the unit block of Rhine Loop.

Isaiah Lopez, 28, was arrested for possession/delivery drug paraphernalia and warrants for possession of controlled substance in the 100 block of N. Malone Street.
