Body of Woman Found in Abilene Dubbed Suspicious Death

 

ABILENE, TX — The Criminal Investigation Division of the Abilene Police Department is investigating a suspicious death, according to a Facebook post by Abilene Police released Wednesday.

The body of a female was located at approximately 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the general location of North 10thand Marigold Street. The body was found by a citizen.

Due to the nature of where the body was found and other circumstances, Detectives on this case are working this as a suspicious death.

The next of kin has been notified and the body of the woman has been identified as 20-year-old Jeannie Quinn. She is from Levelland, TX area and was reported missing on Sunday, April 15. She was last seen in the Abilene area.

The Abilene Police Department is working with other agencies at this time in the investigation. This remains an active death investigation.
