Wichita Falls Suspect Wanted for Allegedly Killing an Abilene Man

 

WICHITA FALLS, TX — Wichita Falls police are searching for the alleged killer of a 28-year-old Abilene man today.

A capital murder warrant has been issued for Wichita Falls resident, Glenn Eric Lee II, 22.

Police responded to the 1000 block of Juarez Street at 1:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. Upon arrival, police found a single victim, Matthew Liggins bleeding in the driver’s seat of a Jeep Patriot.

Liggins had been shot multiple time in the upper torso and was taken to United Regional Health Care. Liggins succumbed to his wounds after arriving at the hospital.

Wichita Falls detectives investigated the scene and concluded that Liggins was shot during a robbery.

Lee is identified as a black male, approximately 5’ 6” and 145 pounds, black hair and brown eyes. Lee has a criminal history from 2013 to 2017, and charges include theft, assault, and narcotics possession.
