Man Stabbed on San Antonio St. SAPD Investigating

SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo Police Responded this evening to a report of a stabbing in the 2100 block of San Antonio Street.  Officers arriving at the scene reported finding a victim with a stab wound in his upper chest area.

Medics were called to the scene and he was ultimately transported to Shannon Medical Center with non life threatening injuries.  

The suspect was located about nine minutes later on 23rd street and was taken into custody.

Damon Curt Boone was apprehended by SAPD and placed in the Tom Green County Jail on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with bond totaling $23,224.20.
