Family Violence Tops the Weekend Booking Report; 87 People Arrested

SAN ANGELO, TX — The weekend booking report lists 87 people arrested from Friday to Monday. The arrest blotter gives details of a few people and the charges they obtained during the weekend:

SUNDAY and MONDAY

Ray Ventura Cavazos, 29, was arrested on Monday night for assault causes bodily injury to family and 4 other warrants following a domestic violence investigation in the 500 block of Paint Rock Road.

A 29-year-old male, was arrested for exhibition of acceleration – spinning tires during a traffic stop Monday night near W. Beauregard and S. Abe Street.

Andrew Crespo, 24, was arrested for assault causes bodily injury to family early Sunday morning following a domestic violence investigation in the 4100 block of Wellington Street.

Elijah Antonio Rios, 22, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated on Sunday morning following a crash investigation in the 1400 block of Western Court.

Brittni Carbajal, 29, was arrested for driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle on Sunday night. Carbajal was arrested for a warrant as well after police were dispatched to a reckless driver report near Austin Street and Avenue L.

SATURDAY

Anthony Ray Favila, 54, was arrested on Saturday afternoon for assault causes bodily injury family violence. No further information is available on this arrest.

Christopher Norman, 38, was arrested for public intoxication on Saturday evening after police were dispatched to the 60 block of Rio Concho Drive for the report of an intoxicated person.

Martin McDonald, 34, was arrested Saturday night for public intoxication after police were dispatched to assist the Fire Department with an intoxicated subject at the 100 block of S. Chadbourne Street.

FRIDAY

Crystal Latacha Cuellar, 35, was arrested Friday afternoon for criminal trespassing after police were dispatched to the County Library located on W. Beauregard for the report of an unwanted subject.

Isaac Cadena, 35, was arrested on Friday around 4:00 p.m. for criminal trespassing after police were dispatched to the 700 block of E. 25th Street for the report of a unwanted subject.

Rick Allen Hirst, 30, was arrested Friday afternoon for assault causes bodily injury family violence. The arrest was made after police were dispatched to the 800 block of N. Van Buren for the report of an assault in progress.
