Pounds was reportedly staying with family members in town. Police tracked pounds and spotted him allegedly buying drugs.

Police discovered crack cocaine and a pipe in Pounds' sock after he was arrested.

Abilene authorities extradited Pounds back to the Taylor County Jail where he is being held on a $100,000 bond.
