Runnels County Law Enforcement Confiscates Hard Drugs in Winters

 

WINTERS, TX -- (Press Release) Runnels County law enforcement officers with the Winters Police Department, Ballinger Police Department and the Runnels County Sheriff’s Office while working together investigated a suspected narcotics courier.

The vehicle was located at a residence on North Concho Street in Winters. Winters Police Officers and Runnels County Deputies effected a traffic stop of the vehicle after it left the residence.

A search of the vehicle was conducted and 9.8oz of suspected Methamphetamine was located inside the vehicle. Gilberto Rivera Garcia 54 of Ballinger was placed under arrest for Manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 200 to 400 grams within a school zone.

A short time later a search warrant was issued and served by Officers from the Winters Police Department, Ballinger Police Department and Deputies with the Runnels County Sheriff’s Office at 1011 North Concho in Winters.

Jesus Reyna 36 of Winters was placed under arrest for a motion to revoke supervision warrant issued out of Runnels County, other charges are pending at this time.
