Odessa Police Searching for Vehicles Involved in Drive-By Shooting

 

 ODESSA, TX — Around noon Friday, Odessa Police responded to a drive-by shooting call in the 1300 N. block of Edison Avenue.

A 19-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to his chest and was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. An 18-year-old man was also at the scene at the time the shooting occurred but he was not injured. 

No arrests have been made yet and the Odessa Police Department is continuing the investigation on Edison, where they have recovered shell casings from the 1300 block to the 15000 block.

The investigation revealed that two separate vehicles drove by the men when suspects inside the vehicles began shooting.

One of the vehicles is believed to be a black Chevrolet Silverado and the other is described as a black Pontiac Sunfire, according to CBS7.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact the Odessa Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 432-333-TIPS.
