Laredo Man Accused of Lewd Behavior with a 5-Year-Old Boy

 

LAREDO, TX — This week Laredo police arrested a man who allegedly molested a 5-year-old boy five years ago.

Anthony Javier Lozano, 34, was served on Tuesday with a warrant charging him with Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact. As of Wednesday night, Lozano remained in custody at the Webb County Jail, according to LMTonline.com.

Laredo police stated that the case was reported back on Feb. 1. when officers responded to a house on East Elm Street for a sexual abuse report. A woman at the house told police that Lozano had sexually abused her 10-year-old grandson, according to the Laredo PD.

According to the criminal complaint, The alleged abuse was when the boy was 5-years-old and documents stated that Lozano gave the boy a $1 after the incident and told the boy not to tell anyone about what had happened.

Investigators interviewed Lozano on Feb. 14regarding the allegations and he quickly stopped the questioning by saying, “It’s not true,” records state.
