Man Arrested for Indecency with Child by Sexual Contact

SAN ANGELO, TX. – San Angelo Police arrested Johnathan G. Moss, 28, yesterday for the charge of Indecency with Child by Sexual Contact.

The investigation of Moss came after the child had come forward about the sexual contact in a class that teaches children about Rape, Aggression, and Defense or otherwise known as R.A.D. Class.

The topic of the day in the class was “private parts” and “good” and “bad” touch. When it was discussed, the young girl asked if a “bad touch could sometimes feel good.”

A school official talked to the young girl after class and this is when the allegations of Mr. Moss came to light.

The girl told officials that the defendant would come in and wake her up at 4:00 a.m. saying it was time to get up and begin touching her on her private parts “on her panties.” Then he would let her go back to bed when he was done.

Officials spoke to the young girl a day after she told her a school official of the incident and the story did not change which led the school administration to fill out the CPS online report, as required by law.

During the investigation by Detective Stuart of the Criminal Investigation Division it was found out from the victim that Moss sexually assaulted the young girl on three different occasions during her kindergarten year.

The girl's mother told Detective Stuart that the defendant would smoke marijuana at the residence and has a history of using compressed air cans as an inhalant.

The defendant stated during the investigation that he was a stay at home father and the primary caregiver for his children.
