Abilene Father Indicted After Child Tests Positive for Illicit Drug

ABILENE, TX-- KTXS reported that an Abilene father was indicted after his infant tested positive for methamphetamine.

According to the report, Zachary Fowler, 19, is charged with endangering a child after a CPS investigation and drug test revealed meth was in the bloodstream of both the child and Fowler. Court documents say that the child was in "imminent danger" due to the exposure to meth.

Witnesses told investigators Fowler exposed the child to "meth pipes, smoke, and paraphernalia."

Fowler was first arrested on Sept. 16 and released on a $10,000 bond. He was re-arrested this past December and is free on another $10,000 bond.
