SAN ANGELO, TX – Sixteen people were booked into the Tom Green County jail yesterday. Two of those women were arrested for Aggravated Assault along with one from Monday. These ladies are bringing in the New Year with bashing and crashing.
Rebecca Morse Adams, 57, was arrested for Aggravated Assault Date/Family/House with Weapon. Police were dispatched to the 3600 block of Lake Drive to investigate a report on an assault. Upon arrival, San Angelo Police found that Adams assaulted her 82-year-old husband with a blunt object.
Another woman arrested yesterday on Aggravated Assault Date/Family/House with Weapon, Shana Nicole Howlett, 28. SAPD was called to a domestic disturbance call at the 400 block of W. 34th Street. Investigation upon arrival showed that Howlett had assaulted her husband with a knife and hammer.
Finally, Monday night, Mariah Bernice Martinez, 20, was arrested for Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon. Police were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at the Lowe’s Home Improvement on Sherwood Way. During the field investigation, Police learned that Martinez physically assaulted her husband and then tried to run him over with her vehicle.
