Man Arrested for Burglary of College Hills 7-Eleven in Tuesday's Booking Report

 

SAN ANGELO, TX. – Tuesday’s booking report showed that a total of 19 people were arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Jail in the last 24 hours.

One of those being Andre Maxie, 30, who was arrested Tuesday for a robbery at the 7-eleven at 2843 S. College Hills Blvd.

The clerk, a 26-year-old white male, reported that the suspect, Maxie, had gone behind the counter to a restricted area of the store. When confronted by the clerk, Maxie struck the clerk with a closed fist in the head, according to Sergeant Matthew Vaughn of the San Angelo Police Department.

Maxie left the store but was located by police a short distance away and taken into custody.

Maxie was originally booked for robbery but the charge has been changed to Burglary with Intent to Commit a Felony, Theft, or Assault; a State Jail Felony Charge.

  • Parole Violation: 2
  • Driving While Intoxicated: 1
  • Criminal Trespassing: 2
  • Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance: 1
  • Possession of Controlled Substance: 2
  • Failure to Pay Child Support: 1
  • Possession of Marijuana: 1
  • Border Patrol Hold: 1
  • Possession/Delivery of Drug Paraphernalia: 2
  • Public Intoxication: 1
  • Robbery: 1
