SAN ANGELO, TX — Ashley Robertson, the suspect police sought who was accused of being the shooter of 31-year-old Ancirea Huffman in her apartment, has been arrested. Robertson was booked into the Tom Green County Jail at 12:23 a.m. Sunday morning by the San Angelo Police Department.
The arrest affidavit on Robertson obtained by San Angelo LIVE! said that Robertson shot Huffman in the left breast as Huffman was sweeping her apartment at her Cheyenne Crossing Apartment at 17 W. 31st St.
Robertson was previously sentenced to four years probation in July on a possession of greater than one but less than 4 grams of methamphetamines charge. She is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Robertson is currently in jail with no bond set.
If Robertson is found guilty, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon is a first-degree felony with a punishment of 5 to 99 years in the state penitentiary. A punishment after conviction also carries up to a $10,000 fine.
