Denver City Coach Placed on Leave After Inappropriate Relationship Allegations

DENVER CITY, TX — The Denver City Independent School District has placed their high school girls basketball coach, Kody Brown, on leave pending an investigation.

Brown, who was placed on leave on Wednesday, is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

"Pursuant to the district's customary personnel practices, the employee was immediately placed on administrative leave," the district said in a press release. "An internal investigation was initiated, and reports of the alleged misconduct were made to appropriate law enforcement authorities and the state's educator licensing agency."

Brown has worked in the Denver City ISD for eight years while coaching at the high school for five of those years.

According to the release, a decision on actions to take will follow the current investigation.

It is a given that with his looks that females would just naturally be attracted to him and that eventually, this would be the outcome.
