SAN ANGELO, TX -- (SAPD Press Release) Zachary Navarro, 22, and Lydia Sharp, 30, were arrested early Sunday morning after Police stumbled upon their assault of a 26-year-old Abilene Man in a downtown parking lot.
According to San Angelo Police Department Public Information Officer Tracy Gonzalez, at 1:20 a.m., Police were patrolling the downtown area when they observed an active fight in the northeast corner parking lot at S. Chadbourne and Twohig. At the time of their intervention, Sharp was on top of the victim, punching him in the face, with Navarro close by.
Once the parties were separated, Officers were directed to the knife that was used in the assault.
Subsequent to the field Investigation, Detectives with the Department’s Criminal Investigations Division learned the victim and a friend had been walking westbound on the sidewalk when they allegedly heard Navarro yelling profanities at Sharp, who were both across the street.
During the verbal altercation, the victim yelled at Navarro to stop cursing at the female [Sharp]. After the exchange, Navarro ran across the street and physically assaulted the victim. At some point during the assault, Navarro produced a knife and inflicted superficial wounds to the victim. Navarro also received a laceration on his hand from the knife during the assault. San Angelo Fire Department Medics responded to the scene and treated the parties for their minor injuries.
Navarro was charged with Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon and Sharp was charged with Assault Causes Bodily Injury. The pair was transported to the Tom Green County Jail where they were later released on Bond.

Aren't these two a classy little couple?! And by the smiles it would appear that they are very pleased with themselves. Something very, very wrong with people these days. Some of them act more like animals than humans.
