Cops find Meth and a Gun in North San Angelo Bust and Arrest a Woman

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo Police Department’s Street Crimes Division Detectives Wednesday served a search warrant at a residence in the unit block of East 20th Street.  

The warrant, issued by Justice of the Peace Pct. 4 Eddie Howard, named 36-year-old Viviana Rivas of San Angelo to be in possession of methamphetamine at the residence.  

According to the SAPD, during a search, investigators located and seized a small amount of suspected methamphetamine, paraphernalia associated with narcotics trafficking, and a sawed-off shotgun.

Rivas was charged with State Jail Felony Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 and Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon before her transport to the Tom Green County Jail.

The Department’s K-9 Unit and Center for Tactical Medicine assisted with today’s operation.
