ODESSA, TX -- The Odessa Police Department is reporting that a Hooter’s security guard shot and wounded a 25-year-old man Wednesday night at the Hooter’s restaurant at 2660 N. JBS Parkway.
According to a press release, police were dispatched to the restaurant around 11 p.m. Wednesday night. They met with the security guard, 25-year-old Rance Struck.
The investigation showed that Struck was in an altercation with the victim. The victim was walking away from the altercation and Struck allegedly shot him in the back.
The victim was transported to the hospital with serious bodily injury.
Struck was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon which is a second degree felony.
