Police and ATF Storm Suspected Meth House

SAN ANGELO, TX — Officers of the San Angelo Police Department Street Crimes Division and Federal Agents with Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms stormed a suspected methamphetamine distribution location late Wednesday afternoon at 4:45 p.m.

Police and the ATF agents were looking for methamphetamine.

According to Lt. Ed Kading of the SAPD, the law enforcement operation went to 209 Lipan Dr. to serve a warrant. Once inside the residence, five individuals were located and all were arrested for various charges. Among those charges are possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and Kading said, the ATF is conducting a follow-up investigation on another matter.

The address, 209 Lipan Dr. is the listed address of David Navarro who was arrested last month in connection with the murder of Eric Torrez. Navarro has been in jail since his arrest. The occupant of the home was Navarro’s common law wife, Kading said. The Torrez case and this police action are not related, Kading said.
