Street Crimes Directed Traffic Stop Leads to Narcotics Arrest

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- During a recent ongoing investigation, Detectives with the San Angelo Police Department’s Street Crimes Division (SCD) developed intelligence about a 34-year-old San Angelo man who is distributing methamphetamine in our community.

The suspect, identified as Todd W. Taylor, was arrested around noon Friday during a traffic stop in the 400 block of West Avenue U.  The stop was directed by SCD. 

During the stop, Investigators located and seized a quantity of methamphetamine and assorted narcotics distribution paraphernalia. 

Taylor was charged with First Degree Felony Manufacture Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group1 and transported to the Tom Green County Jail.

Members of the Department’s Patrol Division, Traffic Section, and K-9 Unit assisted with today’s field investigation.
